I would just like to preface this mini "series" I will be writing about...
I dabble in the art of ceramics, and the things I learn from God in the studio.... they don't stop. It's consistent. When I go to the studio, God shows up. He comes to me in a gentle whisper. He speaks to my quiet heart. It's a moving thing for me.
My pastor's wife, Michelle, came with me last week and took pictures of me while I was on the wheel, sanding, glazing, wedging, etc. The pictures in the next 8 posts will have been done by her! So before I forget to mention the genius behind the camera, THANK YOU, Michelle!
I cherish these pictures.
Once the thank you's start, they don't stop! I also am grateful for my art teacher, Mrs. Heidi, for being patient with me and not giving up on me, when I wanted to give up on ceramics! I emailed her a few of the pictures, and I'm glad I still have that contact. She is proud of me, and I am proud of the ceramicist that I have become and how hard I am working to become even better.
Without further ado....
CERAMICS!
